Laying the Groundwork for Whole School Wellbeing in the Early Years

Studies show that high levels of well-being enhance learning. In 2012, this key understanding was the driving motivation for CIS to begin implementing positive education across the school, from our very youngest learners to our very oldest. Since then it has become a fundamental part of our teaching and learning; it is reflected in our mission and is at the centre of all decisions, big and small. We strive to provide both staff and students with a toolkit of strategies to support their well-being and to help them flourish now and throughout their lives. In this workshop, Tracy and Janice will outline the journey and provide examples of how Visible Well-Being is implemented at CIS for our youngest learners.
